When something grabs your attention once, and then you notice it everywhere.
All the talk about Scion being reabsorbed into Toyota has made me notice tC’s everywhere lately. I saw four completely separate ones tonight, within a span of 45 minutes and within 2 miles from my house.
Now I’m wondering if one might not make a nice daily commuter...

Also when you get a new car and then you see it everywhere all of a sudden.

Exactly.
Only in my case, there are just a lot of Jeep Patriots on the road.

If i had a dollar for every Tc i saw on a daily basis in jersey, i’d be so rich I could take the US out of debt

Did you drive the manual or the CVT? I have a manual, its not entirely miserable. I only want to punch myself in the face occasionally.

You already have a more feasible fiscal plan for fixing the debt than any of the current candidates.

Dude no. It’s a crapcar. I owned one. Everything rattled, it was loud on the highway, and it has no power. Yes, it’s probably better than a Corolla. No, it’s not better than much else.

I commuted in a stick shift 2005 for about a year. It’s definitely a car. Pretty uneventful and super reliable. Not great on gas, not particularly quick. Back seat is roomy enough.

I don’t see mine much at all. Even the normal ones (which are, mind you, far more common). Hell, that’s true for both my cars. There are like 3 of each one in my town... Even in the city it’s rare to see either of them.
